I'm in the process of redesigning my blog layout to include a blog roll of the blogs I read, the link up parties I participate in, an about me page, and one for my different theme days. I skipped yesterday's Tip for you Tuesday because, well I tried scheduling Monday's to go out and it never did, so I had to publish it yesterday instead. I'll publish my Wordy Wednesday later this evening.
I also wanted to know when I should start selling ad space? Any suggestions?
If you would like to have your button included on my blog roll please email me at twistdletter(at)aol(dot)com with your button.
If you would like me to list your link up parties on my page, please also email me that information, thanks!
I will also extend the link up party for Monday since there were no participants as of yet and I didn't get it up in time. It will be open all week.

Memory Monday-#1
Today’s memory subject is your favorite end of school memory. It can be from when you were a kid, or your favorite memory from your child’s graduation, last day of school party, etc. Rules of the link up party:
• There is not a button, yet, but you could grab one of my every day buttons and display that (even if it is just in the entry).
• You do not have to follow anyone that follows you.
My favorite End of School memory was from the end of my second grade. I had appendicitis that year and had missed quite a bit of school due to hospitalization. I was unable to attend the awards ceremony and was very upset that I wouldn’t get to “walk the stage” for my parents, or get all the medals and certificates I had earned that year. Sitting at home on my last day of school, my teacher, Mrs. Rogers, came by after school hours to drop off all of my awards. I cried. She cried. My mom cried. It was amazing and made me think I was so very special because my teacher came to my house! Mrs. Rogers turned out to be one of my favorite people, and I would visit her at my elementary school every chance I could until I moved from Mansfield. She is what great teachers are like.

Theme Days
I think that it will be easier for me to remember to write if I come up with theme days (i.e. Friend Friday, Tutorial Tuesday, etc.). I don't want to do what everyone else is doing. So I've been trying and raking my brain to come up with my 'own" days.
I asked yesterday on my twitter what I should do, with no response. So far I have Memory Monday, where I write about one of my favorite childhood (or momhood) memory, and others post theirs. Memory Monday might also have sub themes (favorite trip to the park, favorite meal by mom, favorite bed time story, etc.). Tuesdays I was thinking some sort of Tip for You Tuesday. Pretty much mom's would post one of their best tips for things you don't find out about until it happens to you (such as when I needed help with horrid diaper rash [mixing gold bonds powder and vaseline works wonders] ) and others can post their latest "new knowledge." Not sure about that one, or if others will like it or not. Wordy Wednesday will be for me to either discuss the book I've been reading or possibly display something I've written (that stuff I pass off as poetry) or just Kinzey's new words, and the short stories Houston's starting this summer. Thursdays I will be participating in Tot School and Twilight Thursdays with other bloggers. I wlil also continue to join New Friend Friday (although I haven't been up to snuff there in a few weeks).
I also need to create a blogroll, separate about me pages and start learning how to add labels properly. I also *ahem* want to completely redo my blog layout design. But baby steps!
Anyway, I'd really like to hear some feedback on what ya'll think about all this. Comments are always welcome!
Botanical Gardens and Ice Age
She loves to dance with her baby Cinderella! We even made daddy dance with us! It is so hard to get any good pictures since my phone is always blurry. I promise to work on that!

Hello
I'm out early today to work. Monday's are increddibly slow at work, so I might have a post later today (any suggestions on what program to use for scheduling posts?). Just wanted to say hello to all my new (and old) followers! I'm up to 15 people. Which is more than I thought I would get, lol.
Thank you followers. You have no idea what you mean to me.

Love
I was going to post a whiney blog about things I want right now including a camera
patio furniture
new spray paint
dressers for the kids
But then I finished my work, swept the floors, cleaned up the kitchen, and found this beauty:
Well, I tried putting one of the lovely pictures of this Book art up, but failed. Or didn't wait for it to load, and not really wanting to save the image then put it up. (Don't know the proper etiquette on doing so)

I need to think of better title names
Thanks for all the welcoming to tot school! I am getting excited after talking to Kim at work and my neighbor, I think we are all going to get our kids together and have a "class" twice a week! My neighbor is a first grade teacher, but is taking next year off to be with her son (17 months), so she has tons of supplies. Which also gets me excited lol!
I'm off tomorrow so I'm going to work with Kinzey for a little bit. We're going to go over colors black and brown again (she likes these because the puppies are these colors), as well as color, get in some outside play (she loves to eat dirt now, yay :|), as well as start shapes. Thinking circle. Since I don't have ink yet, we're flying solo on printables and using what's in the coloring books we have. I'd really like to get a few necklaces done tomorrow, but I have one last final tomorrow night that I really should review for.
We got to pick Houston up yesterday and take the kids to Dollar Tree (yay school supplies), Sonic (happy hour!), and the park (boo construction and high winds). We all got pretty dusty, and the only thing we could really play on without flying eye hazards were the swings. This is the only picture that didn't turn out like Flash from The Incredibles.

Home School Tot School
We started Kinzey's Tot School today!
Look at that attitude!
She knew the straps were coming!
After breakfast (grapefruit and juice!) We colored a Piglet picture for a few minutes.
We put together a large floor Scooby Doo puzzle.
We played with Christmas colored pompoms (red, white and green sparkly). We sorted, counted, and threw them everywhere!
We went through Brown, Black, and White flashcards. Kinzey said black and brown but never said white. She likes black because Cooper and Twinkles (kinkles) are both black. Spaz and her stuffed puppy are brown.
Then we played with our VSmile Baby
Kinzey had a lot of fun! I wish my camera was working, or that this spare camera I had was faster. The only pictures of her are from my cell phone, so they are not the best quality. We won't have tot school again until Wednesday. I can't wait for summer, and the ability to buy some printer ink so I can get printables and make her a Tot Book or a Tot Pack. I also want to get a laminator:
a Cricut:
and some blocks, alphabet letters, and other fun at home school stuff. I think we may just go up to Dollar Tree today to look!

Mother's Day
So really just thought I would say, I'd love one of these:
and soon. Doesn't have to be Mother's Day. Any day works for me!
I feel as if every craft project I start, I cannot finish as my hand-writing makes me want to cry.
Oh and I made a 90 on my lab practical. Go me.
Good night!

Mother's Day Week
So this week is obviously the week before Mother's Day. I've been a busy bee this week! Working on getting Shelton's Mother's Day promotion up, finals are this week and next, and my parents are on vacation this week and wanted us to join them out in East Texas for as much as we could.
We did get to go out to meet my parents for Saturday and Sunday night. Lots of pictures to come from that. (Yes I still have zoo pictures to post I know, getting behind blog-wise). We shopped in Canton while I was there, which was amazing! Lots of cute clothes bought.
Lab practical was on Monday, and I feel confident with my performance. Tonight is Biology test in lecture, and next Wednesday is my final in Bio. So ready for that. Well, ready for it to be over with. Tomorrow night is my last day in BCIS, and have to give a powerpoint presentation. Again, ready to get that over with!
I'm completely ready for summer, as me and Hootie will be setting up a small day care type system for Kinzey. So we will be taking at least two days a week to teach her letters, numbers, colors, and shapes. Also, want to work on more sight words and reading skills with Houston (but shh, he just wants to play and teach Kinzey). Not sure where to start though, so any at-home school mom's have any suggestions?
My friend Olivia's mom, Delilah, also opened a store in Mansfield/Arlington this week. Check it out if you are in the area:
