Loong day! Had Houston's field trip to the Museum of Science and History (pictures to come!). Then work for a bit to take pictures for the virtual tour I'm putting together. Park for a little bit with the kiddos and husband, Came home to cook dinner (Chicken Asparagus Casserole MmmMmm!). Kid's bedtime routine, then getting ready for bed myself. Making blueberry muffins for breakfast, and bedtime! I am exhausted. Sorry this is short, but more to come later on.

Up and Coming!
After reading this post: House of Grace: How to Have a Garage Sale, I feel like a garage sale is soo much work. I don't think we have enough stuff, as I always skip the sale part and go straight to goodwill/donation spots with what we are wanting to get rid of. But with everything going on right now I think planning a garage sale will be an awesome idea to bring in a little more cash and to keep us occupied. I think working as a family, we can declutter our home, as well. I've already sorted through all of the kids clothes. Next up is mine and hubby's clothes. I'll leave the toys to Aaron and the kids to sort through. Also need to go through my books, movies, and kitchen clutter (appliances, dishes, pots, and pans).
Today, besides moving through laundry, grocery shopping, and picking up a little around the house, today is The Hills marathon
I've missed most of the last season being busy with school, work, etc. so hopefully I can get caught up today, since the new season starts tomorrow! Also very excited for One Tree Hill
Maybe Lucas and Payton aren't in this season, but it's still really good and I absolutely adore Brooke!
Ok, time to go grocery shopping. What are your plans today?

Cleansing
I've noticed when I am angry, in need of a fresh mind set, upset, sad, or even ecstatic I tend to clean more. It's those blah moments when I don't seem to care.
Flylady is working wonders in my house as I declutter and organize 15 minutes at a time. It's not nerve wracking when I know I only have to do this area for fifteen minutes, then I get to take a break. The husband is cleaning whatever he is wanting to, granted not flylady style so he's all over the house, and backyard, and garage. It helps so much that he loves to sweep and mop as I despise that task more than cleaning the toilet after guests, father-in-law, and six year old son. Too many allergens, dust, and dog hair for me!
Thinking I might get to a craft after my homework. I should finish some, but it's so hard when I want to take pictures. Thinking of doing this quick one from Thrifty and Chic by Alicia. Have some very empty display areas, and they need to be filled! We'll see.
Break's over!

Patience
I Corinthians 10:13 "No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it."
Having to look to the bible more and more. I find I cannot come up with what to say during certain situations. I'm constantly at a loss for words. I want so badly to let go and let God. Still having trouble finding the perfect church for us. I love Gateway, but it is such a hassle to drive that far out, and I'm afraid they are too flashy for Aaron's taste.
Flylady has been helping quite a bit. She keeps me distracted from the problems we are facing as a whole right now. Letting me focus on the decluttering process, the reorganizing process, the planning process. It keeps me busy and full of hope for what comes next.
Philippians 4:6-7 "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

God is testing us
God does not give you more than you can handle.
I am continuously reminding myself this. This week has been hard on me and my family and friends. Work has been extra stressful, with the added on responsibilities and the perfectionist in me. I've had tests in both of my classes, finals and presentations coming up in the next three weeks as well. Then my husband was let go from his job, my daughter won't stop throwing up for no apparent reason (no fever, different foods each time, jumping around and smiling right after and before), and one of our friends is going through even worse troubles than that. My world has been tipped upside down. Flylady is going well, and actually keeps my mind of the rest of what school, work, and chaos doesn't. I'm exhausted.
If you have any words of support, advice, or encouragement, they would be greatly appreciated.
I know we will come out stronger, but this test seems extra hard.

WAHM Mostly
So now I do alot of work from home! I said I had great news coming up about my job! The place I work has officially launched our facebook fan page, and I am the creater and, right now, the sole collaberator on this (as we all know) ongoing project. I do have most things approved by the owner of Shelton's Salon and Day Spa approve the content, or at least the general idea behind what is going up. Most of the work, content, and direction comes from me.
As fellow bloggers know, interactive marketing is the way to reach more potential clients. Using tools such as facebook, and then later on twitter, stumbleupon, digg, and updating the actual website for Shelton's it gives a target market, and has so much potential for generating sales. I am very excited about this venture and cannot wait to implement all the ideas I have for it. Shelton's is just beginning their new online identity and I am thankful that I get to be apart of this.
Go check out what's there so far! It just went public today!

My zones
So flylady.net is a lot of information all at once. Trying to take it one day t a time but understand everything is hard. She keeps reminding me just do one thing at a time not everything at once.
Of course I have skipped ahead somewhat and made a map of my zones. I think it's pretty awesome. It's just my house, and everyone's is different. I've also started really using my calendar as I need to be more organized with work, school, and home.
I used free fonts from http://www.kevinandamanda.com/. The boxes are standard shapes from Microsoft word and their standard theme.
I also really like that she has the option to look at what is going on for the entire week under the sneak peek areas. I like knowing what I will be cleaning tomorrow. I'm having a hard time adjusting to the just do this one area thing, but I understand I shouldn't be cleaning everything all the time.
I have shoes on my feet.
My sink is shiny.
The laundry is down one load today.
I still have to do my 2 min hot spot drill and 15 min declutter. But technically I am not supposed to be up to that point yet,so no pressure.
I will also be doing the zone cleaning today, even though technically not supposed to be there yet either. But I am off(ish) today and need something to do besides study for biology.
I will also possibly be doing the Riley challenge, which for today is to just do five minute hot spot cleaning. Not too sure yet.

Fly Lady Day 2
So I've started Fly Lady. My house is in a constant state of, really really clean and really really not. So this site is dedicated to helping me establish routines to keeping my house, and my sanity, together.
It's starting slow, cleaning my sink and putting shoes on my feet. Sounds corny, but I understand the concept behind feeling accomplished (clean sinks) and always at the ready to do something (shoes/feet).
It's also a little overwhelming right now, lots of information. Not sure where to go next, but it says just follow the baby steps, and I'll figure it out. So, of course I'm skipping most of day two (besides cleaning sink, and shoes) because they are an every day thing. So, day three is the big tent day. Added my profile there, added family etc. (Not all of this is required). Let me know if you do this method. Hoping to find a few people to help fly with.
On another note, Houston's second soccer game of the weekend was awesome. Very energetic. the baby shower I went to was nearly over by the time we go there, so it felt like I dropped the presents and left. Starbucks stop for Edna and I, awesome. Then back home.
Cleaning up my art desk once again, then dishes, trash, and cleaning up our bedroom. Hopefully, all before we go to dinner. I really want to take a nap right now. The weather and my allergies make it perfect for sleep.

Sunday Sinuses
After being lazy the last couple of hours I got up to eat some peanut butter, catch up on blogs, and hide from the dogs that rolled in the grass I'm allergic to. They followed, then the family. Unable to breath, snot running from my face (beautiful I know), my husband is surfing for music to make my happy, and the kids are wanting to go play. Time to cheer myself up, allergies be damned! Spoonful of peanut butter to each dog and chalk to the kids! I'm sorry but watching the kids get covered head to toe in sidewalk chalk and the dogs constant licking to eat all their peanut butter, it just makes me smile. So does this:
I love this man, this boy, and this girl. Nothing could make my life better than they do.
Our first dance. Have a great weekend guys! See you later on.

Soccer Saturdays
Have made it through the first game for the weekend. Two more games to go, as well as trying to make it to a friend's birthday party tonight. Also, have a baby shower tomorrow during and after Houston's 2:00 p.m. soccer game. Aaron says we are going to dinner tomorrow night for our anniversary but I keep telling him it's not necessary. After this weekend, I am going to be exhausted. Thankfully, I have Monday off. I do have some stuff to get done for work, but it's not due until Wednesday. I also have ANOTHER biology exam on Wednesday. Such fun! Taking a break from cleaning right now. Just speed cleaned the kitchen, most of the living room, and the floors. Still have the gameroom, bedrooms, "hotspots", and the car. Then on to the FC Dallas game tonight! Let me know if you're going to be there!

Friday Night
Cleaning up and blogging before Aaron's 11:30 soccer game tonight. This weekend will be a busy one!
Kinzey is learning so many words so quickly. This week she said her first sentence ("I want mcdonnows"). She has also added some of the following words to her vocabulary :
Night, hey, pee, poop, please, kay, home, mcdonalds, now, keys, school, cold, and cool.
Her favorite is still cookie and seems to solve all of her troubles. Even when she isn't saying it to us, she's still signing it to us.
We also think it's time to potty train. (Review the words above, lol). Any suggestions? I hear girls train faster, but Houston was so easy. I have trouble believing that. Sorry for the lack of pictures. Have a fantastic weekend!

Absenteeism
Sorry for the lack of updates these past couple of days. I've been extremely exhausted between the extra work projects (Which I can't say anything about just yet but I am very excited about!!!), Easter holidays, and school. This will be a quick update though, as I have a house full of chores that need to be done because this blog was not the only thing I put on the back burner.
For Easter the kids and I made these:
Took about thirty minutes, but I was short on time we did this between soccer games, work, and the kids discovering it was time to play with chalk in the backyard.
My windowsill garden is doing amazing, they're all sprouting and reaching towards the sun!
Sorry for the horrid picture quality but my camera is broken still. Thanks to all of my new followers here and over on my twitter http://twitter.com/momnonstop. Off to watch and clean the house up. Kinzey is napping! Have a great rainy day!

Easter Plans
This weekend will be busy! I went straight to sleep last night after work, so I wasn't able to update.
Skipping their pictures for tonight, but for the garden windowsill: sprouted, dill, chives, parsley, and basil are all growing visibly. No parsley I can see yet. You can buy an indoor kit (albeit not handmade over at amazon)
Tomorrow I have to help women get beautiful at work, then off for Easter celebrations with my husband's family.
My wedding pictures came in not too long ago, so I've been showing them off like crazy. I can't believe next weekend will already be a year. I love him more everyday!
Sunday, we are doing breakfast and egg-hunting with my parents out in Crowley. I'm sure Granny and Pappy can't wait. they love my kids so much.
We're off to throw some last minute Easter presents together for above families.Having to settle for old pictures (above) or of other people's pictures (below)
