I feel like we’re in waiting.
Waiting for July, August, money, answers, time, space, news.
We get a few only to find we’re still in need of more.
Sorry to be vague. I do have good solid news.
I start a new job tomorrow. My official title is Social Media Manager at More Cabbage. So, goodbye Shelton’s. It will be the first time in forever that I’ll have to pay full price for hair services. It’s worth it.
I’m all signed up for fall classes at UTA. I did have financial aide secured. Found out today it fell through. Have to go through an appeal process. Again.
Aaron is loving his new job. So between the two of us, finances are finally secure (knocking on wood right now) except for the college fund (which we don’t have one for me).
We have such a great support system from our friends, family, and church that I know we’ll make it through whatever trials we have coming up.
Thank you for your support.
Side note: I know things are vague, sparse, and very frustrating. It’s hard because most of what’s going on I can’t or don’t want to write here about. It’s caused some writer’s block as to what I should say. I apologize. I’ve also come to a crossroads in my blogging. I am not a craft blogger. I am not a DIYer. I am a mom. I also work full time. I also (hopefully) will be in school again.
What does that mean? I’m not sure what this blog should be. I’d love to be a mommy/fashion blogger. However my closet would disagree with that request. I’m working on it. I have decided that from here on out, I will only be purchasing my own wardrobe from thrift stores, yard sales, and Goodwill. The few exceptions are: shoes, undergarments, and bathing suits. I will also still accept gifts from elsewhere, of course.
